Blake Shelton Reveals How Post Malone Got Him 'Fired Up' to Record New Album "For Recreational Use Only"

During a Tuesday, May 13, appearance onThe Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the country star spoke about how Malone, 29, inspired him for his latest album,For Recreational Use Only. Like, he had me fired up again from that song." The result was Shelton's album which dropped on Friday, May 9. The song's success "lit a fire under me," Shelton added. "The crew and everybody backstage, they become your family, you know?" he said of the show where he met his wife,Gwen Stefani,10 years earlier.
