On Wednesday, May 28, theCoyote Uglyalum, 58, filed for a dissolution without minor children from the 60-year-old French chef in Los Angeles County Superior Court due to irreconcilable differences. TMZwas first to report the news. Court documents obtained by PEOPLE list their official wedding date as April 7, 2024. The former couple wed after afive-year engagement. A decision regarding their separate properties will be reached through a written agreement, but court documents state that the costs of medication will "be split between the parties." TheSecret Windowactress shares 24-year-old son Jackson Blue McDermott with Dan McDermott, while Crenn has two children from a previous relationship. Reps for Bello and Crenn could not immediately be reached for comment. Bello reflected on their relationship in February 2020 at Elton John's annual Oscars party, tellingEntertainment Tonight, "We're pretty happy, considering that we just got engaged. So this is sort of our fun time out in Hollywood for the first time. It was very surprising and meant to be, but about time. I've finally grown up enough to get married." In December 2023, the then-couple spoke exclusively to PEOPLE about their extended engagement. "We're such horrible planners, I have to say, both of us. Plus we're working all over the world," Bello said at the time. "But finally we have the wedding planner, we have the date, we have the location. And our save the date says, 'Yep, we're finally doing it.' "And that's an exciting thing too in the second half of my life, deciding who I want to be with, choosing the person that I want to be with."
