The "Can't Get Enough" singer, 55, again proved that she can do anything when she not only hosted the 51st Annual AMAs, but also performed. Lopez is the fourth singer to solo-host the highly anticipated show twice. The last time the "Let's Get Loud" singer hosted was a decade ago in 2015. The star performed in a crystal-covered nude bodysuit with black accents in abstract shapes. She also wore matching heeled boots. Lopez wore her honey blonde hair in an ultra-long, straight style. Ethan Miller/Getty The three-time AMA winner then kicked off her hosting duties in a plunging Swarovski crystal embroidered Miss Sohee halter-neck gown in white and silver with a daringly high slit up the front. She paired the dress with a turquoise blue silk duchess opera cape, embellished with white and pale pink Korean peonies, butterflies, wildflowers and kittens. Lopez kept the looks coming, wearing a gold metallic halter dress with dramatic cutouts on each side that exposed her legs. She also switched up her hair, rocking a sleek ponytail. Lopez also wore a royal blue strapless gown with exaggerated hips that was covered in sequins. The star sported an updo with face-framing pieces and added a silver choker necklace. Gilbert Flores/Penske Media via Getty In an interview ahead of her hosting gig, Lopez told PEOPLE that she still hadn't picked out her looks for the American Music Awards becauseher tastes are always changing. "We started doing our fittings just yesterday, and there's so many things to choose from," Lopez told PEOPLE. "I don't know what's going to wind up on the show... it'll be a lot of last-minute decisions, I think." When you're as booked and busy as Lopez, fashion decisions are often made in the home stretch of an event. But it isn't just about schedules for the star — she likes to switch things up based on how she's feeling. "I work with my stylist and we kind of kick around ideas like, 'What do we want it to be for the performance and what do we want it to be for the hosting and what's our vibe?'" she explains. "We feel it out because I think it does change.
