The proud mom, 43, posted toInstagramFriday, May 23, a series of photos celebrating her eldest daughter Stella Blue's completion of middle school. Among the close friends and family celebrating wereNicole KidmanandKeith Urban. The entrepreneur posted an Instagram Story of the group out to lunch following the celebratory ceremony. TheBabygirlactress, 57, sat across from Shearer, and Kidman's husband Urban, 57, is pictured sitting across from John Shearer. Clea Shearer/Instagram Shearer posted avideoof the graduation ceremony to her Instagram Stories of Stella walking across the stage to receive her certificate of middle school completion. "And just like that…she's in high school," Shearer wrote, appearing to reminisce on the passage of time. The mom also revealed that just as her daughter is leaving middle school that her son, Sutton Gray, is entering middle school in the fall. "My littlest baby will be in MIDDLE SCHOOL which is just as mind blowing," Shearer captioned an Instagram Story featuring the family of four. Shearer's mother Roberta L Friedman was of course also present for her granddaughter's big day. "Three generations of women who graduated from the 8th grade," Shearer captioned a photo of her and her mom standing with their arms around Stella. After being declared cancer-free inNovember 2022, the breast cancer survivor learned in January that she would need to undergo an unexpected surgery. During a checkup, her doctor noticed a wound at her incision site that was open to her implant. The surgery in January marked hereighth surgery. "He took one look at it and said, 'What are you doing on Monday?' My heart sank because I knew what was coming next. Time for another operation," the mother of two wrote onInstagram. "And since it had to happen immediately, I wasn't going to have time to mentally prepare." She previously spoke toPEOPLE in September 2024, and said she has embraced each victory.
