Billy Ray further opened up about rebuilding their relationship in aMother's Day statementshared to Instagram. "I'm so proud of Miley and her guts and her courage...her wisdom and strength to bring it when our family needed it most," he wrote. In the same post, the singer also appeared to take steps toward mending fences with his ex-wife, writing, "Tish Cyrus was and is the very definition of a strong mother.
