TikTok user Brooke Kelly documented the unfortunate series of events in avideoshared on May 9. "How drink around the world started," she wrote over the series of clips that starts with the camera panning over a large group of park-goers standing in front of a fountain at Epcot'sAmerican Adventure Pavilion. Most of the group is arranged in a line with their hands over their hearts. Several are holding beverages and donning face paint, while one woman wearing Minnie Mouse ears stands in the front and belts out "The Star-Spangled Banner" at the top of her lungs to the surprise of the other park goers. One of her companions salutes and another removes a large sombrero he presumably picked up at the Mexico pavilion for the unusual display of patriotism. A number of onlookers can be seen recording the scene on their phones. The creator, who is filming her group's shenanigans, then turns the camera to selfie-mode and records herself and another guest joining in on the singing. Teddy / Alamy At the song's crescendo, two of the men climb up on the edge of the fountain, and at least one jumps into the water as things comes to a dramatic close. While the group cheers as its members continues to splash around in the water, the scene quickly cuts to the aftermath of the ordeal. Kelly zooms in on the man appearing to have a serious conversation with two Disney cast members while a security officer stands nearby. In the next clip, the group appears to be escorted out of Epcot by staff as someone can be heard saying in the background, "The walk of shame." Over the final clips, the TikToker wrote, "how it ended," and noted in the caption: "This definitely did NOT go as planned." In the comments, many users appeared to be unamused by the group's actions, with one writing that "the lack of respect is astonishing." Another commenter added, "How NOT to drink around the world," followed by one who claimed, "This is the most obnoxious group of people I've ever seen at WDW." Meanwhile, others thought the group's behavior seemed humorous, and a few even wished they were there with them. "I want to go to Disney with you all," one wrote. Another added, "I need these kinds of friends in my life." While the Florida resort hasstrict ruleslisted on their website that prohibit "engaging in any unsafe act or other act that may impede the operation of the Walt Disney World Resort," the TikToker claims they didn't face serious consequences for their actions. In response to one comment that said, "No more Disney for you! Was it worth the ban?" the creator said they were "not banned" from Disney World and that the man who jumped into the fountain "got a warning." Joseph Prezioso/Anadolu Agency via Getty PEOPLE previously spoke to theme park journalist and travel expert Carlye Wisel about the infamous "drinking around the world" challenge many attempt at Epcot. The unofficial guest experience calls for adults to pay a visit to every country represented in the World Showcase and get an alcoholic beverage from each location in one day. While Wisel admits, "'Drinking around the world' at Epcot is somewhat of a rite of passage for theme park fans, and can be quite fun," she notes thatthere's a way for guests to do it well— and at a better price. "I trust that Disney does an excellent job when it comes to limiting guest consumption appropriately, but the advice I always give people who are attempting to 'drink around the world' is to split drinks with friends and family!" she told PEOPLE. "It saves plenty of money, ensures you won't overindulge and leaves you room to enjoy plenty of treats along the way." Read the original article onPeople

"I was like, 'Wow, okay,' " Ryan recalled to PEOPLE. "I didn't want to be an influence one way or the other, so I said, 'Well, offer it to him, and see what he thinks.' The whole time [in my head] I'm like, 'Please do it. Please do it. I want you there with me.' But I wanted it to be his own decision." Mike Coppola/Getty Ultimately, Phillippe said his son, who isstudying music at New York University, came to him and said, "Dad, I think I'm going to do it." "I was thrilled, because what that meant was he would come in and out throughout the production, and I would get to spend time with him" the dad of three said. "When your kids go off to college, it's really unsettling. It really leaves a deficit, a hole in your life in some ways. Even though I go and visit him in New York, and we spend a lot of time with each other when we can, it's different than when you've got them in your house every day. This experience offered me that opportunity again to live together for a week." Read the original article onPeople

King Charles and Queen Camilla Carry Umbrellas Despite Sunny Weather at Palace Garden PartyNew Foto - King Charles and Queen Camilla Carry Umbrellas Despite Sunny Weather at Palace Garden Party

Aaron Chown - WPA Pool/Getty King CharlesandQueen Camillawere granted sunshine for the second garden party of the season, but they still kept a handy accessory nearby. On Wednesday, May 14, the royal couple welcomed approximately 7,000 representatives to Buckingham Palace in London for a special event celebrating those working in education across the U.K. After the King, 76, and Queen, 77, entered the garden party, they stood while a band played the national anthem. The pair then headed out onto the lawn to greet some of the guests. Queen Camilla wore a white crepe silk dress by British designer Anna Valentine, adorned with the lateQueen Elizabeth's diamond jardine star brooch, and a Philip Treacey hat. Meanwhile, King Charles looked sharp in a suit and top hat, accessorizing with a blue tie featuring a fun design of cartoon submarines. Aaron Chown - WPA Pool/Getty Both the monarch and his wife also carried umbrellas — despite sunny weather! They did the same last week when they hosted thefirst garden party of the season. Even if there was no rain in the forecast, the umbrellas may have been on hand to provide shade if needed. While chatting with a guest in 2019, Queen Elizabeth once said that theweather was a concernat garden parties. "Well, you do rather hope the sun shines as when you invite 8,000 people to have tea on your lawn. It can be a bit of a worry," the history-making monarch commented. Aaron Chown - WPA Pool/Getty The garden parties go on rain or shine, and last year,Prince Williamwas joined by some of his cousins —Princess Beatrice,Princess Eugenie,Peter Phillips,Zara Tindalland Zara's husband,Mike Tindall— for an event where the weather did not exactly cooperate. However, theycarried on while holding umbrellas. Zara came extra prepared for the rainy outdoor appearance, wearing protective stoppers on the heels of her shoesto prevent her from sinking into the wet grass.
