Kyle and Kamilla Make Their Move! Who Went Home on 'Survivor 48' Tonight?New Foto - Kyle and Kamilla Make Their Move! Who Went Home on 'Survivor 48' Tonight?

With one exception, the postmerge ofSurvivor 48has been defined by timing. As the majority continued to pick off the outsiders, some castaways were just waiting for the opportunity to make their move. And in this week's episode, we finally saw that opportunity come to fruition. One of the most hidden duos inSurvivorhistory in Kyle and Kamilla decided to put on their acting faces once more, attempting a gambit to get the powerful pair of Joe and Eva to vote off their own, setting them up to hopefully win the million dollars in next week's finale.Check out spoilers about tonight's episode below and find out who was voted out.Related:Everything to Know AboutSurvivor 48 Survivor 48capped off a yearlong process for Shauhin, after he had come out to the island as an alternate of Season 46, and became the most talked-about person in the preseason. But as Shauhin expressed in tonight's episode, any expectation of what his experience would entail went completely out the window once he hit Lagi beach. He locked in with Joe and Eva early on, becoming a trio that solidified even further after getting blindsided at the swap and then brought into a core of the "loyal" majority. At the Final Six, Shauhin was good to keep moving through with the plan of going to the end with Joe, Eva and Kyle, believing he could beat what many were calling the odds-on favorite to win in Joe. But the debate professor couldn't help but talk through the pros and cons of turning on his alliance with his fellow "middle man" in Kyle. Little did Shauhin know, all that did was give Kyle the fire to burn his Icarus-like wings. Kyle and Kamilla launched a smear campaign against Shauhin, lying to Joe that he was conspiring against him and had a secret idol. And, despite it being a risky maneuver, it paid off handsomely. While Shauhin thought he could stick to the plan of rolling with his foursome, he had no idea the plan had changed, depriving him the chance of making his closing argument at Final Tribal Council. Related:Meet the Full Cast ofSurvivor 48 No! While part of Kyle and Kamilla's gambit involved saying that Shauhin had an idol, it was all a fabrication from the twosome. Eva goes into the finale as the only person with an idol or advantage, and she must play hers at the Final Five. Bruce Glikas/Getty; Kevin Mazur/Getty Jonathan Groffis so committed to his craft, he takes the titleSpring Awakeningliterally. Kelly Clarksontestified to that fact on Tuesday's episode ofThe Kelly Clarkson Show, in which she regaled the Broadway star with a visceral memory of her time seeing him in the acclaimed musical. "I saw you in that, and there's something — I didn't know there was a name for it — but I was second row, so you probably know where I'm headed," she began, eliciting a knowing giggle from Groff. "I was in the second row and I was like, 'What?'" Clarkson continued, pantomiming a failed effort to dodge incoming rockets of spit. "There's a term, and it's called the 'Groff sauce,'" theMindhunterstar informed her. Clarkson told Groff that it "wasn't just your spit, it was your sweat. I was like, 'Oh, my god.' Then I felt like an inferior performer, because I was like, 'I have never worked that hard. I have never ever worked that hard.'" Groff conceded, "I am a spitter. I'm a huge spitter, and it's just what happens to me when I perform.... It's like everything goes. I just get really into it." Clarkson assured a bashful Groff that "after a while, you get used to it," but he pressed on. "I have seen audience members take their programs and do this," he said, holding up his hands as if he was raising a shield. Groff has been notorious for his overactive salivary glands —a quality he shareswithAmy Poehler— since he landed his breakout role in the coming-of-age tragedy byDuncan SheikandSteven Saterin 2006. But it was a quirk largely held dear by Broadway die-hards. As Groff's star has risen with starring roles onDavid Fincher'sMindhunterand inLin-Manuel Miranda'sHamilton, however, the secret's out. Groff's spitwent viralwhen he took over the role of King George III fromBrian d'Arcy Jameswhen the latter musical moved from off to on Broadway in 2015. "I can't believe how patient these two are with the amount of fluid that's coming at them, and it's real love, and not a day goes by where I'm not grateful for that," Groff said. "Because it's disgusting." Reflecting on hisSpring Awakeningdays, Groff echoed Clarkson's observation that his on-stage excretions aren't limited only to spit. "At the end of Act I ofSpring Awakening, when I would be in the hayloft withLea Michele, some days I would be sweating so much, and we were simulating sex," he recalled. "I would be on top of her in the hayloft, and the water would be coming down my face, and then go to like a low faucet where it's just dripping in a straight line onto her body...and she would go, 'Oh my God, get off of me!'" Shirlaine Forrest/Getty; Chip Somodevilla/Getty Bruce Springsteenspent part of the opening night of his tour calling out PresidentDonald Trump. "The mighty E Street Band is here tonight to call upon the righteous power of art, of music, of rock and roll, in dangerous times," the Boss told the Manchester, England, crowd from the Co-Op Live stage in the first few moments of the show. "In my home, the America I love, the America I've written about, and has been a beacon of hope and liberty for 250 years, is currently in the hands of a corrupt, incompetent, and treasonous administration. Tonight, we ask all who believe in democracy and the best of our American experience to rise with us, raise your voices against the authoritarianism, and let freedom ring." "In America, the richest men are taking satisfaction in abandoning the world's poorest children to sickness and death," he said before singing the 2002 song "My City of Ruins," perBillboard. "And in my country, they are taking sadistic pleasure in the pain that they inflict on loyal American workers, they are rolling back historic civil rights legislation that led to a more just and moral society. They are abandoning our great allies and siding with dictators against those struggling for their freedom." Springsteen's long been opposed to Trump. Last October, heendorsed Trump's opponent, Kamala Harris, over Trump for president. He also called him "the most dangerous candidate for president in my lifetime." "Perhaps not since the Civil War has this great country felt as politically, spiritually, and emotionally divided as it does than at this moment," he added. "It doesn't have to be this way." The artist behind songs such as "Born in the U.S.A," "The River," and "My Hometown" said he was standing behind the Democratic candidates for president and vice president, because their policies mirror the "vision of America [he's] been consistently writing about for 55 years." "9-1-1 "Won't Name a New Captain at Station 118 in the Season Finale. Why Oliver Stark Thinks It's 'Wise' (Exclusive)

Disney/Chris Willard 9-1-1will have to wait a bit longer to find out who the new Station 118 captain is following the shocking death of Bobby Nash (Peter Krause). Oliver Starktold PEOPLE on the red carpet at the Disney 2025 Upfront presentation in New York on Tuesday, May 13 that a new chief won't be revealed by the end of the ABC series' eight season. "The chair will be empty come the end of the season," the 33-year-old actor — who plays Evan "Buck" Buckley on the show — explained. "Which I think is wise because it gives some time to let the dust settle and let the chips land where they may and and you know, let these people grieve and then we can start to see what the future will look like." John Nacion/WireImage When asked who should become the next chief of Station 118, Stark joked, "Ravi. No, definitely not Ravi," referring to Anirudh Pisharody's character. Instead, he suggested that Howard "Chimney" Han (Kenneth Choi) and Henrietta "Hen" Wilson (Aisha Hinds) might be better fits for the job. "I think Chimney would be the next choice, experience wise, skill wise, leadership ability wise, and just overall good person wise," he said. "If not Hen, my vote goes to Chimney." On the April 17 episode of9-1-1, Bobbysacrificed himselfby using the final antidote for the Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever to save Chimney (Kenneth Choi). Krause, 59, explained the shocking death in a statement toVariety, calling the move "more than a bold creative choice on a bold show." "Bobby Nash was written in sacrifice and he was built for this. First responders risk their lives on the job so that others can see another day," the actor explained at the time. "His story arc honors them." Krause's costarAngela Bassett, who plays Sgt. Athena Grant-Nash and Bobby's wife on the show, told PEOPLE at the2025 Met Galaearlier this month that she is still coming to terms with the loss. Bruce Springsteen Calls Trump Administration 'Corrupt, Incompetent, and Treasonous'New Foto - Bruce Springsteen Calls Trump Administration 'Corrupt, Incompetent, and Treasonous'

After some initial reluctance, Bruce Springsteen has increasingly sounded off about the presidential administrations of Donald J. Trump. Asked during a cover-storyinterview withVarietyin 2017why he hadn't been more critical, he said, "Well, if you read Charles Blow in The New York Times, he carries the flag pretty well. I'm ambivalent about … sort of getting on a soapbox. I still believe people fundamentally come to music to be entertained — yes, to address their daily concerns, and yes, also to address political topics, I believe music can do that well. But I still believe fundamentally it's an affair of the heart." Donald Trump is running to be an American tyrant," he said. "He does not understand this country, its history, or what it means to be deeply American. And that's why November 5, I'm casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz. I urge all of you who believe in the American way to join me." Well, the world knows the way the election went, but on Wednesday in Manchester, England, on the opening night of his European tour with his E Street Band, Springsteen let loose again. "The mighty E Street Band is here tonight to call upon the righteous power of art, of music, of rock 'n roll in dangerous times," he told the crowd.
