BENJAMIN CREMEL/AFP via Getty King Charles and Prince William are stepping out to attend the Service of the Order of the Bath The historic Order recognizes the work of military officials and senior civil servants The special service happens only every four years and William will be installed as Great Master of the Order during the ceremony at Westminster Abbey King CharlesandPrince Williamare joining forces for an unusual royal duty. On May 16, the King, 76, and the Prince of Wales, 42, stepped out together to attend the Service for the Order of the Bath at Westminster Abbey in London. The commemoration was extra special as it is the Order's 300th anniversary year and the Service for the Order of the Bath happens only every four years. The latest iteration is King Charles' first Service as sovereign and one with a special spotlight for Prince William. The heir to the throne will be installed as Great Master of the Order during the ceremony, which includes taking an oath and installing five Knights. The Most Honourable Order of the Bath was created through the Letters Patent of George I in May 1725 and recognizes the work of military officials and senior civil servants. The Order revives an older tradition tracing back to medieval times. According to that lore, soldiers would prepare to receive their knighthood with a ritualistic bath symbolic of spiritual purification and partake in a vigil the night before receiving their honor. The Order of the Bath features three classes of members: Knight Grand Cross or Dame Grand Cross, Knight Commander or Dame Commander and Companion. Women were admitted to the Order of the Bath in 1971 with Princess Alice, Duchess of Gloucester (and the mother of modern working royal Prince Richard) named as the first Dame Grand Cross. Chris Jackson/Getty King Charles last attended the Service of the Order of the Bath in May 2022 as the Prince of Wales, the traditional title for the male heir to the throne and one he bequeathed to Prince William upon his accession to the throne in September 2022. It's traditional for the Prince of Wales, as Great Master of the Order of the Bath, to attend its signature service every four years, while the sovereign only goes to every other service, or every eight years. King Charles was installed as Great Master byQueen Elizabethin 1975 when he was 26 and William follows in his footsteps today. The father and son both stepped up into elevated royal roles following the Queen's death in September 2022 at age 96,with a source telling PEOPLE that the transition brought them closer than ever. Sarah Silverman recently appeared on "The Howard Stern Show" and credited Conan O'Brien for helping to save her career after she was fired from "Saturday Night Live." Silverman was a writer and cast member on "SNL" Season 19 but got dropped after one season. "Conan was the best thing for me," Silverman said about how O'Brien would invite her onto "Late Night" after her firing. "That was his first year [on 'Late Night'], was my first and only year at 'SNL.' And he put me on all the time, even after I was fired, all the time, and that was the start for me." "And it was an incredible kind of boot camp experience." Silverman said that while being at "SNL" was "so magical" and "so amazing," there was also "just something about it where they just have this energy that puts you in your place where you feel like a piece of shit, and you're terrified. The anxiety… it's very hard to be zen and chill there." "Andy Samberg did that whole piece about the anxiety of doing something for 'SNL,'" Silverman added, referring to Samberg's"SNL50" sketch. "It was very honest — I thought a lot of people connected to it that were there. We all feel like losers here for some reason." Silverman has previously said that she wasn't fired from "SNL" for any personal reason. It was simply the show's usual housekeeping. But she was still blindsided by the decision. "I was totally thrown for a loop when I was fired, because it never occurred to me that was possible," Silverman told Stern. "But I think it's definitely for the best." The golden retriever helped to deliver alcohol shooters to wedding guests during cocktail hour via her custom shot-delivery harness built and designed by the bride and her father, Michael "She absolutely loved all the attention ... Honestly, she probably thought the whole party was for her," the bride tells PEOPLE A bride and groom had a furry, four-legged bartender at their wedding. Maria Coleman, 28, and Justin Davis, 29, got married on Sunday, May 4, atThe RotundaatLauxmont Farmsin Wrightsville, Pennsylvania. The couple is going viral on social media for having a cute "barktender" at theirStar Wars-themed nuptials. The bride's uncle was a former golden retriever breeder. Only one dog was born in his final litter, so she was aptly named Solo, both after Han Solo from George Lucas' space opera saga and for being a rare singleton puppy. The 3-year-old pup was not only Coleman and Davis' flower girl and ring bearer, but she was also their part-time bartender! Katy Trefy Photography Solo was adorably nicknamed the "barktender" and helped to deliver alcohol shooters to 160 wedding guests during cocktail hour via her custom shot-delivery harness built and designed by the bride and her father, Michael. "Guests absolutely loved it!" Coleman tells PEOPLE. "People were snapping photos and taking videos of her nonstop. Everyone was laughing and saying what a fun, creative idea it was, and how perfectly it fit us, especially since we're so obsessed with Solo and love to have a few drinks ourselves!" As the bride and groom walked their dog around to greet guests with drinks, "she absolutely loved all the attention." Katy Trefy Photography "She was able to say hi to all her favorite people in the world!" Coleman says. "Honestly, she probably thought the whole party was for her, since just about everyone she's ever met was there." Over the past two years, Solo's human mom and "grandpaw" worked together to make her harness. It holds 24 shooters, is easily refillable, and was customized with the wedding colors and white flowers. Never miss a story — sign up forPEOPLE's free daily newsletterto stay up-to-date on the best of what PEOPLE has to offer, from celebrity news to compelling human interest stories. Katy Trefy Photography "I'd heard about couples renting donkeys to hand out drinks in their saddles at weddings, and that inspired the idea — but I thought Solo could wear something similar, only she'd be much cuter (and definitely less smelly)!" Coleman explains. "It felt like a fun, meaningful way to include her and let her say hello to all our guests (aka all of her favorite people)." Guests who wanted something more refined than a shooter could order "The Solo," which is Tokyo tea made up of gin, melon liquor, rum, tequila, triple sec, vodka, sweet and sour mix, and club soda. Another signature wedding cocktail, with bartending from The Messy Pig, was dedicated to Maria and Davis' other pet, a Maine Coon cat named Leihla. "The Leihla" was a strawberry mojito that consisted of white rum, lime, strawberry, mint, simple syrup and club soda. Solo was a part of the wedding ceremony, cocktail hour and reception, so "it was a big day for her." She "always" wanted to be included in what her owners were doing, and even joined them in their first dance. "Raising Solo together has signified the beginning of our little family and life together, so it was really important to us that she be part of our wedding day," Coleman says. Katy Trefy Photography "She definitely earned some rest," she continues. "She basically slept for a week straight afterward! Our hotel room that night had two queen beds, so she claimed one for herself and stretched out like we bought it just for her (which we did)." Solo's personal wedding pet care was provided byFur-Ever Wedding Services. Videos of Coleman and Davis' fur baby proudly wagging her tail as she passes out drinks was posted by Solo and Lauxmont Farms onInstagramandTikTok, and have amassed hundreds of thousands of views. Commenters on social media adored the creative approach to wedding bartending and thought Solo was cute. Jin of BTS talks new 'Echo' album, first solo tour and finding his voiceNew Foto - Jin of BTS talks new 'Echo' album, first solo tour and finding his voice

Kim Seok-jin is not only part ofBTS, the bestselling musical act in South Korean history with seven members, millions of records sold and a myriad awards won.Jinis also a solo artist. When he released his first solo album, the man called "Worldwide Handsome" by fans wanted to hone in on happiness. He had just finished hismandatory military servicein South Korea months prior, and the aptly named "Happy" released in November 2024, peaking at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 chart. "Those were more about easy listening songs; the songs that I would love to listen to myself,"Jintells USA TODAY. But with his new album "Echo", out now, the 32-year-old wanted to dive deeper into his craft, underscoring an emotional depth to his songwriting and stronger performance presence. "The fans told me that they want to see me on stage, so this time around, I said, 'Let's focus more on performing,'" he says. Jin thought aboutBTS' fans, known as ARMY, while working on "Echo," adding they were the reason he was able to release "another album so soon." "I'm really happy that I'm back with another album after my release last year," he says. "It's an honor for me. I am very grateful." Performance played a vital role in shaping the tracklist for "Echo," Jin reveals. "I received almost 1,000 songs for this album, and first I shortlisted about 30 of them. I picked out the 30 that I loved ... then I had a second listen to them, third listen to them," he explains. "I try to picture that image of myself in my head on stage with these songs. I thought, 'This song can bring out a new facet of myself that ARMY would love to see,' or 'This would be a blast on stage.'" The next step was to consider what his fans would like. "It's the ARMY that listen to my music, and that's what really means the world to me," he adds. From there, Jin narrowed down the final count to seven songs, each exploring themes of love and connection. "The definition of love can be different for the different tracks in this album," Jin explains. "I think love comes in many forms. It could be love between lovers (or) between family members ... Friendship can be another form of love. So I wanted to touch on these multiple aspects of love." When Jin wrote lyrics for the album, he honed in on specific scenarios. "When writing 'Loser', I imagined if I dated someone back in my school days, I would have felt this way about this person, and for 'Don't Say You Love Me', it's really about how lovers know that their relationship is falling apart, but because there is that lingering love left, it's really hard to let go," he says. The track "Nothing Without Your Love" is another special one for Jin since it is about the love that he feels about ARMY when he's performing. "I think there are all these different types of love, and love is such a comprehensive term that really embodies all of these facets. So this is truly an album that is full of love," he says. 2024 Paris Olympic Games:BTS' Jin to join torch relay. Jin has always had an affinity for rock, and that shines through on "Echo." "This album really delves into the genre that I hold close to my heart," he says. "I just stayed true to the voice tone that I have, and that's how I found myself in love with the band sound," Jin adds. Jin is not the only member of BTS to venture into solo work. The other six have also released their own albums, each's discography highlights the distinct and individual talents in BTS. "As BTS, because we're a team, we have to have a mixture of all the different voices that we have and all the different colors that we have," Jin explains. "But when we're doing our solo gigs and solo albums, then we can really find the one sweet spot that hits hard for (ourselves). As a team, we have our beautiful color, but as solo artists, I think we can also unleash our creativity and our own voices." Jin is embarking on his firstsolo world tourto coincide with the album release. This includes eight US stops, including in Anaheim, California and Newark, New Jersey. "I have limited time and places that I can go to," Jin says. "SinceJ-Hopeis on tour right now, I decided to go to places where he couldn't go. "I know that there are a lot of passionate ARMY in the US, and I love seeing that every single time they welcome us with so much love and support. So every time I go to the US, I'm so excited to see them." This article originally appeared on USA TODAY:Jin of BTS on songwriting, creating new album 'Echo' and solo tour
