Kel Mitchell Teases Plans to Launch His Own Orange Soda, Inspired by His Iconic "Kenan & Kel" Role

Nickelodeon Speaking to fans at 90s Con in Connecticut, Kel Mitchell reflected on an iconic moment from his series,Kenan & Kel The 'Who loves orange soda?" line is one that is quoted to him often, he said In fact, Mitchell has plans to make and market an orange soda of his own Kel Mitchellstill loves orange soda. Taking questions from fans during his90s Conappearance at the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford, Conn., Mitchell, 46, revealed that he wants to bring orange soda to the masses in a good way. The revelation came about when Mitchell was asked how his love for orange soda onKenan & Kelcame to be. Just moments earlier, Mitchell had led the crowd in his beloved sing-song catchphrase, "Who loves orange soda? Kel loves orange soda." "One of the writers, this is what he told me. And we did an episode where there was orange rain coming down, which was big for me, because I'm a dancer. I started out in theater, so I got to do Fred Astaire type of dancing, which was super cool for me." Mitchell said people ask him about the bit all the time, joking, "It doesn't matter if it's a five-star restaurant, they're going to go, 'Can you say, "Who loves orange soda?" Please, Kel?' And I'll do it." As fans cheered, he shared, "But it's coming, okay? My own orange soda." As excited fans chattered, Mitchell continued, 'I was on the phone with my attorney because ... it has to be healthy. I can't have kids out here just drinking fructose and sugar, you know what I mean? So, we've been working on it."
