Rod Stewartis taking home some serious hardware from this year'sAmerican Music Awards. Stewart's adult children presented the "Da Ya Think I'm Sexy" singer with the Lifetime Achievement Award, calling him by their affectionate nickname "Papa Stew." The singer said he was "flabbergasted" to see five of his eight children together onstage. Stewart then took to the stage to perform "Forever Young" accompanied by tapping backup dancers and Irish-step-dancing violinists. It was his first performance at the AMAs since 2004. "When I started singing in the early 60s, well before all you of lot were here, the reason I got into it (was) because I had this burning ambition to sing," Stewart said. "That's all I wanted to do, I didn't want to be rich or famous, and here I am, a few years later, picking up this wonderful award."
