Monica Schipper/Getty Less than six months after welcoming their son, court documents obtained by PEOPLE revealed that Jackson had requested a restraining order against Burgin. In the filing, Jackson claimed that Burgin assaulted her while she was holding their newborn son on Mother's Day in May 2025, alleging that he grabbed her by the hair, slammed her head against a car window and punched her in the face. The actress stated that it was not the first instance of domestic violence she experienced. Per the documents, she told the judge that she endured a six-month period where she would be abused weekly, including Burgin allegedly choking and scratching her, and slamming her head into walls. Kayla Oaddams/Getty In the restraining order, Jackson detailed an incident in which Burgin allegedly punched through a bathroom door after she locked herself inside, claiming she has video evidence of the encounter. She alleged that he then slammed her against a wall and "choked me until I could not breathe." In addition to the physical abuse she allegedly endured, Jackson claimed that Burgin damaged her physical property, including an iPhone and a television. Elsewhere in the filing, Jackson alleged that while she was pregnant, Burgin demanded she drink bleach to kill their unborn child and at one point held her at knifepoint. She also claimed that as Burgin walked her to her car, he threatened to stab her in the stomach if she cried out for help.
