Tevin, who is a business owner and contractor, exchanged handwritten vows with Brittney in private before their ceremony. The groom's childhood pastor officiated the nuptials. Capturing the glitz and glamour of the 1920s, the bride wore a sparkling wedding dress that shimmered as she made her way down the aisle, as the 1996 R&B love ballad "For You" by Kenny Lattimore set the romantic scene. Vows.Studio | @Vows.Studio_NY "I went to a local wedding shop and I showed them some photos of what I was looking for," says Brittney. "I made a decision that same day. I just knew it was the right one. It was just stunning." The bride was so mesmerized by her gown that she didn't have any desire to purchase a second dress for her reception. "This will be the only time I wear it so I want to wear it all night," she says. The wedding party had an Art Deco vibe and juxtaposed the bride and groom in ivory, with the bridesmaids wearing rust tones and the groomsmen in olive. For Brittney, getting married means "starting a new journey together, two people deciding to walk side by side and do life together."
