During the May 22 episode of herTea Time with Raven & Mirandapodcast — which Symoné, 38, co-hosts with wifeMiranda Pearman-Maday, 37 — the formerDisney Channel starsreminisced about some of their favorite moments on set, and while the sitcom had such a different environment that many other shows on the channel. "OnRaven, the atmosphere that we had on that show I would say is akin to some of the best sitcoms of all time," Massey, who appeared on all four seasons of the show before starring in his own spinoff,Cory in the House,said. "And a lot of our writers came from those shows, and they would validate us like, this is that atmosphere that you spark magic in." Massey added that cast members from other Disney shows would often stop by theThat's So Ravenset and "wanted to duplicate it, but you can't duplicate magic." Just like Anneliese [van der Pol, who played Chelsea] coming into work one day and smashing into my car one day, in the parking lot — it just made us a family." Symoné echoed Massey's thoughts, saying, "You have chemistry with people when you're confident in yourself and your own abilities, and when confidence meets confidence, and you just say, 'play,' or 'action,' things happen. And it's magic." She added that she and Massey often completed their scenes "in one or two takes, because we practiced in a way and we knew that the other person had our back."
